Description
A hard, bitter world, N'Zoth spawned a species that proudly waged genocide against its neighbors. It is fitting that the planet's own death was both brutal and swift.
Located to the west of Coruscant in the Farfalla sector, N'Zoth and the other planets in the Koornacht Cluster weren't explored by the Republic until recent centuries due to the hardship of blazing the Metellos Trade Route. Technically the Farfalla sector is part of the Core Worlds region, but to true Core Worlder considers its planets anything but backward bush sites in the thick of the Negs.
The bone-daved Yevetha evolved on N'Zoth, and its planets case system arose with them. Without unquestioned obedience to one's superiors, the Yevetha could never stay vigilant against the snirgan and other desert predators without systematic executions of weaklings, the Yevetha felt they could not maintain the purity of their bloodline.
The bright stars of the Koornacht Cluster loitered above N'Zoth's night sky, and the Yevetha long believed that they were the only intelligent species in creation. In time, Yevethan solid-fuel thrustships lifted off from the launch pads at Hariz, spreading the species throughout the cluster and encountering other, inferior beings.
In 16 ABY Yevethan Viceroy Nil Spaar finally launched his Great Purge, attacking all non-Yevethan colonies in the cluster. The New Republic's Fifth Fleet smashed the Yevethan military in the conflict known as the Black Fleet Crisis. An angry and broken N'Zoth still suffered under the New Republic's jurisdiction for a decade.
In 28 ABY the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the Koornacht Cluster. The Yuuzhan Vong and the Yevetha stood matched in their xenophobia and aggression, but the invader's military vastly outclassed that of their disarmed opponents. N'Zoth fell in hours, and it is estimated that fewer than ten thousand Yevetha still exist in the galaxy.
