Description
Kira I is a rocky, barren planet located in the Kira system within the Expansion Region's Kira sector. The planet has no significant resources or atmosphere, making it uninhabitable. It was surveyed by Galactic Republic scouts visiting the Kira system years before 70 BBY.
History
At some point following the initial survey, Kira I and two other planets in the Kira system were destroyed by a cataclysm of unknown origin, leaving behind debris fields and an unstable asteroid belt. The cause of the destruction remains a mystery.
